I’ve been working a lot lately so I haven’t been on the computer as much, or in front of the camera. However the other day I did a photoshoot with my friend Lance. My official job title was makeup artist, hair artist, and stylist. It was lots of fun, and the photos look amazing. I’ll show you them soon. Promise. Once they’re edited etc etc. The location was also amazing. It’s been literally next door to me my whole life (in Perth). It now seems the house next door is for sale and unoccupied so we ventured in to the back yard to find some amazing doors, brick walls, three broken down buggies and a rugged shed. Honestly it’s the coolest place.
Anyway, these photos feature a gorgeous top that I got from Auckland. The boutique was amazing and expensive, I wish I could have bought more. mm ohwell. Enjoy the autumn inspired photos (it was particularly cold)…
wearing: ruby top. scanlan & theodore belt. insight jeans. peeptoe boots.
I’ve been thinking about how I can extend my wardrobe. I hate having things folded and chucked and squished. I want to put all my shoes out where I can see them and have all my clothes in one wardrobe (I have more clothes in the wardrobe next door) however I do like the white look of my wardrobe. But any suggestions? I think I want a full wall of exposed clothing and shoes mm just another thing to ponder…
Well have a great day. And for all the Aussies…Happy Australia Day
So the other day I went to this new boutique near my house called Coco & Lola. I went there after lunch with my baby sister and my mamma. I have a post from that day, but I’m kind of busting to show you this new top that I got. It’s bec and bridge, and 30% off. Oh I love those two things in the same sentence. After church (and of course a little Japanese) Maddy and I drove around to find a beautiful spot to take a photo. And this house that was so close to the river on a quiet little street was so gorgeous. So that’s the spot. And yes, I wore this to church. Whoever said churchgoers wore high waisted skirts, lace up shoes, and fully buttoned blouses obviously haven’t been in a while. Besides, I’d happily wear that ensemble.
Talk to you a little more about the store next time, and show you purchases etc etc.
wearing: bec and bridge denim shirt. mink pink dress. and good ol havaiana thongs.
With love and exposed shoulders…
So this is the dress that I got for my bible college graduation last year. I never got to show you it, as I don’t have any lovely photos of me wearing it. So I just put it on for the sake of showing you how gorgeous it is. I feels so light and I just want to swish every time I put it on. It was hard to get Charlie out of the camera in these photos, but I’d say he only makes them that much better. I’m also wearing my favourite lipstick by NARS ironically called ‘funny face’. So pretty.
Mmm so Chictopia. Should have done it a long time ago. I first signed up for lookbook, and it’s just so depressing. Seems I have no style, and it is impossible for me to exceed 3 hypes. 3 DARN IT! Ah, so on Chictopia I have had a lott of loving. So thank you so much if you have been on and voted for me etc. It has managed to make me excited once again about this whole blogging thing. So excited I think I’ll be updating every week. Now there’s some exciting news for those of you who like to read this blog
And another thing. I saw this short documentary on The Sartorialist. If you haven’t already seen his amazing blog just click right here and see. He is just a wonderful photographer, and he catches so many of the offbeats of fashion that make it just a little exciting. I love that he doesn’t just capture what’s in season or in trend, but he manages to capture someone’s attitude and personal style which really the thing that makes their outfit. So if you want to check it out, just click here. Oh and the filming looks amazing on the video too. Oh I love creative people..
Anyway, on to the pictures…
I told you he was cute..
My dress is from Bettina Liano. And my shoes, believe it or not, are by Lipstick. I’ve never liked any of their shoes to be honest, but these ones I love. Most probably majority of my love for them was their price – $90. Not to mention they are so comfy. Go get some! And my bow is from Sportsgirl.
And if you haven’t swished around in a silk chiffon ruffled skirt lately, I highly recommend it.
I love these new shoes that I got for Christmas. The fact that they’re tan makes it okay for a little white girl like me to wear them alone. They’re so soft and lovely, and well, I like them This top is also an addition from my Post Christmas shopping – and yes you guessed it – not on sale. Oh and this belt I got from my Aunty for Christmas. Such a pretty little addition to any normal outfit. Hope you’re all loving my consistent blogging. Knowing me it won’t last long…
