last day of autumn

Autumn,  Outfits

this last day of autumn was as though winter wanted to tell us it was really here. good thing i had my new scanlan and theodore jumper to keep me warm!

pants: American Apparel
shirt: Vintage Country Road
jumper: Scanlan and Theodore
scarf: D-lux
boots: Soles

honestly. today was freezata! the loveliest thing (also most regretful) was visiting Rochelle Adonis for high tea. me mamma and me sister and i ventured through the ice only to find shelter in the cutest marble table-topped, sweet-filled, and tea-warmed room. it was pretty delicious. but as usual i over indulged to the point where i could no longer enjoy the food. still, it was a really nice experience and i will probably go back. now. on to the really great thing about today. it was, once again, wearing my pea soup / army green slightly mulleted jumper from scanlan. i have been mildly obsessed with scanlan lately, and it really has been detrimental to my savings. but really, when you have genuine love for a piece of clothing, cost shouldn’t get in the way. ha. i wish that’s how it worked.

gymy choo

Outfits,  Summer

these shoes maddy scored on sale in singapore for her dance, and well, they’re pretty fantastic. also loving the colour of these shorts and how they kind of look like gym pants.

t.shirt: American Apparel (courtesy of dad’s wardrobe)
shorts: Rummage
shoes: Jimmy Choo
bag: Pigeonhole
glasses: Colab
necklace: Poppy Lissiman

yesterday bella and i visited the city. we went to that cool new bit called brookfield place. it’s pretty cool and new. some awesome cafes/bars/restaurants. and i definitely didn’t feel like i was in perth anymore. so well done perth city. well done. you’re crawling out of your shell. while in the city we went to rummage in northbridge. and to be honest after walking for about 10 minutes in 27 degress and boots i was actually, kind of, over heating. i know. it’s pathetic, but i really need to start conditioning myself for this warmer weather. don’t let my fake tan fool you. the sun and i aren’t exactly pals. anyway. this is probably the thousandth time i’ve mentioned the fairness of my skin on the this blog. it’s not like i have an issue with it or anything… by the way. how cool is my dad that i can wear his clothes. i think i’m going to do a feature on my dad soon. just coz he definitely dresses like a 52 year old man should. in fact. he dresses kind of like a 22 year old ‘man’ should. next post: what i’m wearing to my gig at the ellington tonight. should be a little fancy ;)

flowers and short hair

Outfits,  Winter

shirt: Ben Sherman
jumper: All About Eve
leggings: American Apparel
boots: PeepToe

so i’m kind of tapping in to this whole floral thing that’s happening right now. i mean it was kind of on accident. and it’s kind of not so happening in australia due to the cooling weather, but it’s pretty on trend in the rest of the world. i actually just found this shirt in the closet down stairs. my mum seems to think it’s my sister’s, but i’m fairly certain it’s a men’s shirt. a bit bold for a man. and a bit large for me. but in this combination it works superbly. i really like the whole short jumper with the long shirt hanging out thing. although combined with these american apparel riding pants, i do tend to look a little equestrian.

oh. and i cut my hair. so here it is, all cut. i literally half my hair off. you’d think i’d be sad considering how long my hair was before, but it cut it like 5 times last year in some sort of preparation for this big jump. so there have been no tears shed yet, and i’m still hopeful for none to come. anyway new post on some new hectic shoes coming up. lots of love, and please vote on the link i posted below. xx.

american apparel top. vintage shorts from pigeon hole. sewellery necklace. gorman shoes.

so this necklace i received from my sister for christmas. in fact i received 3 gifts with skulls on them this year.. im not sure what that should mean. anyways. i really quite enjoy this. i probably wouldn’t have bought it myself, but i’m highly grateful that she got it for me, and i try and wear it with everything. many compliments. although equally as many weird looks. i love it. and these shoes my cousin gave me, just because she didn’t wear them any more. and to think i was just about to purchase them. so that was a ginormous blessing.. it’s great having trendy family members. this whole outfit i wore to a gig on saturday night, which was super fun. and speaking of gigs, the boys and i have been doing a few lately and we are loving it. every time i perform i realise just how much i love it. we’ve made a facebook page too with our demo and just some gig details etc. so if you’d like to be a good person, you should click here and like us hehe. thankya.
