engagement party

Famiglia,  Life and Love

i really wanted to share with you some photos from Penny and Sven’s engagement party. it was a really fun night, but most importantly, the flowers were out of control, like, so beautiful. and aunty fil’s cake was also to die for.

aren’t flowers ridiculous? it makes me extremely happy to think that such beautiful things grow in my backyard.
also pictured above is me and my sisters and our pretty mamma; jordan and i; and penny and sven.

just a few shots from paris. and despite all the rain it still charmed me. sorry about all the different photo sizes. i really struggled this time haha. anyway hope these make you a little bit jealous, but ultimately happy. i love travelling. something i will pursue for the rest of my life, and paris was just one of those places i wore whatever i wanted and felt pretty great about it. notice my stripes. one day i looked almost like a mockery with how frenchy i was. i loved it hehe. anyway here’s just a little descriptive info:

1. the eiffel tower for about the 4th time

2. the lourve

3. the cool metro sign

4. climbed to stair 669 of the tower

5. popcorn and pomegranate soup at the tower dinner

6. our tickets

7. the hourly twinkle after 9pm

8. my gorgeous sister

9. again in the rain after some vintage shopping

10. amazing chandeliers in the notre dame

11. dad and i after the moulin rouge

12. laudree box

13. macaroons to die for. (we spent an unethical amount of money there)

14. another stripy moment looking out on the boat tour

15. having way too much fun without our 4th sister in the hotel room

(wish you were there pen!)

lots of love.

the real assisi

Famiglia,  Food,  Life and Love,  Travel

it would seem that i actually didn’t do a post on assisi. how ignorant of me. anyways. here are some photos for you. they should make you feel rather glad about living. it was sunny and just beautiful there. probably a little too hot for this white girl, but amazing. it’s a town on a hill. and food was a joke. by that i mean so good it was almost comical. so here’s a view of one of italy’s finest hillside town…

rome. take two

Famiglia,  Food,  Life and Love,  Travel

Alright so I’m in Paris. And honestly, the rain sucks. But fortunately the charm remains in this huge city and I’m still loving every moment. But before I get carried away with the food at the Eiffel tower, and the show at the Moulin Rouge, I’ll take you through this European journey somewhat systematically.

So Rome. It was surprisingly easy to find your way around and the history in that place is incredible. To be honest I didn’t like the shopping in Rome at all, so naturally I bought nothing. Food however was top quality. Down/up side is all the bread. It’s thick and delicious but a loaf a day per person is just too much for any normal girl to stomach along with pasta and gelato. Although the walking to every location has tried to be my justification for the food. My sister joined us on the last day in Rome right before heading over to Assisi (which calls for another post of better pictures and ridiculous windy roads). So here are photos from Rome…
