well, here’s something you don’t see every day.
me, in joggers. you see, i’ve always had this weird mindset when it comes to joggers. i’ve just never liked the way they looked. so much so that i only wore converses for so many years of my school sporting life! but, since everyone has been wearing groovy nikes and looking, well, groovy, i have decided to attempt this groove. i found these
groovy good looking sneakers at the Stella McCartney for Adidas store in miami. if i had known at that stage how much money was in my bank account, i probably wouldn’t have walked out with them. nevertheless, i was naive and wi-fi-less, so they are here and they are on my feet. i guess they are pretty sporty. like, i will wear them running (one day) but i somehow feel like the colour and the pattern makes them that much more fashion-y, and therefore acceptable for normal non-sport wear. i think i need to give this sport-chic look another go, in those times when i want to put on the old faithful all stars! but they are particularly more supported / bouncy / comfortable than my converses! those are my thoughts.
to doing things you never thought you would (even if it is only in relation to footwear)…
skirt: Scanlan and Theodore
boots: 2 Baia Vista

bought this new skirt the other day (after not a lot of convincing, but a fair amount of latter regret) which i really quite love. i thought it was a pair of shorts at first, but it just has an adorable pleat at the front giving it that appearance. a huge plus side to this garment is it’s length at the back. it is fairly mini at the front, but the back is what justifies it! i also actually really love this t-shirt i got from the supre discount store. it’s a joke in there. honestly i am finding myself all these bargains on simple items and all the rip-off designer garments that you will ever need, but then, you get to the counter and it’s had a further reduction! it’s out of control.
now, on the topic of hair. i have gone back brunette. i know i’m boring, but i am more comfortable this way. i still have intentions of lightening to some sort of olivia palermo/lilly collins colour/cut perfection. i think however, i will wait for new york and find a super trendy stylist to give me the change i’ve always wanted. or maybe, i’ll face facts, and my unrealistic hair expectations. maybe it’s like my dream-like fascination with new york, and my hair will never be as great as i desire, because, well, it’s my hair! also, makeup post coming up soon with super cool awesome video to watch (great for the oily skin peeps).
